I am Tanmay Sahare, a third-year undergraduate in Aerospace Engineering at IIT Kanpur, driven by a passion for leveraging data and analytical skills to solve real-world problems. My experience includes developing a Tweet Tracker using NLP for public sentiment analysis on Indian government policies and creating a real-time Soccer Betting Insights system for clients. I also contributed to analyzing electoral asymmetry to understand the gap between female voter turnout and political representation in India. As the Manager of Policy Research at the Public Policy and Opinion Cell, IIT Kanpur, I led a 20+ member team, organized the Model United Nations during Policy Conclave 25 with 10,000+ attendees and secured major sponsorships. I also coordinated India's largest inter-collegiate chess tournament (CMPL) with a 9 Lakhs+ prize pool and 6,000+ participants as a Coordinator for the Chess Club IIT Kanpur. My professional goal is to apply my analytical, technical, and leadership abilities in roles that involve complex data analysis, strategic problem-solving, and impactful decision-making, particularly in public policy, data-driven insights, or consulting.
